Adib Al-Mamalek hotel, with over two hundred years of history, belongs to the Qajar era. One can guess that it has a unique architecture, with royal chambers, a basement, a pristine courtyard, and a magnificent hall. It also features a distinctive bathhouse, including vaults and untouched pools covered with brick and geometric patterns. The Adib Al-Mamalek hotel is well known for its traditional restaurant with Qajar-era architecture that serves both traditional and international cuisine. Located in the historical fabric of Yazd, the hotel provides easy access to historical sites such as Jameh Mosque of Yazd, Lariha House, Coin Museum, Alexanders Prison, and the traditional bazaar, as well as being close to the modern city center and its main bazaar.

It’s hard to believe that behind the high walls of Moshir al-Mamalek Garden Hotel lies a veritable oasis, with thick plant life and water canals and fountains everywhere. The entrance is a very modest small octagonal space that contains the front desk. From there, you entered the formal dining room which then quickly led outside to the guest room buildings and the gardens. There are four guest buildings, all three storeys, with elevators. The coffee shop-fast food restaurant is at the far end of the garden and opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Salads are great, pastas and pizzas are marvelous, the soups are delivered steaming hot, steaks are nicely done – in short, all the items on the menu taste terrific and reasonably priced. Breakfast is quite decent – they have an egg station; coffee was self-serve, they have sausage (the only meat available), lots of cheeses and desserts.Because of so many steps up and down, and the guest buildings being relatively far away, it was hard to bring your own luggage to the room – you need the bellhop to do it.The rooms are on the whole slightly disappointing. The drop down ceiling was nicely done and the windows had good black out curtains. The ac was easy to handle. But – the lace curtains were fixed to the windows so the only way to see outside was to actually open the windows; there were no outlets above the night tables (well, there’s actually one but it’s used by the night lamp; so you had to unplug the night table lamp to make use of the outlet; the hotel towels are all frayed at the edges; the washbasin ledge is too narrow; there is a step-over ledge to enter the room and another ledge to enter the T&B; the light fixtures are all bright white so the glare is hard on the eyes; some of the wallpaper is already peeling off or torn; the wardrobe wall hangers are very cheap looking; like our other hotel in Shiraz, the glass-door mini bar sits in a cubbyhole without a cabinet door so you need to find a cover if you don’t want the ref light while you’re sleeping; there’s a receptacle for the keycard but it’s useless since the power is on even without any card inserted; there’s only one small mirror, on top of the writing desk but it’s quite high so you have to be standing up; and no decorative art piece anywhere. The wi-fi is a bit of pain – each time you power up the device, you have to enter the username and password. And like everywhere in Iran, so many sites, like Facebook, YouTube, CNN, Netflix etc are not allowed. Neither can you see attachments or send attachments with your e-mail or with instant messenger.

Good Hotel with friendly staff. The rooms have already seen some wear. Rooms towards sidestreet can be loud if located above wall. Breakfast ok, buffet in the evening nothing special. Cafe in the evening quite a nice place where you can sit outside under some trees. Good Mojitos

Mehdi said: First of all it’s much more better than pictures. Well cleaned and so beautiful. Our room was just breathtaking with colorful windows and Blue tiles on wall. Facilities was good and stuf were kind and helpful.Moshir al-mamalek is garden so you can rest in it specially at the early morning or late night because the weather is brilliant. Breakfast was ok but it can be better (I’m from rasht and we care about food). At the end I think this hotel have great manager who knows how to run a historical hotel.Don’t miss photosHave fun ;)

A very good garden in the middle of desert.Although rooms was a little bit dated and needed to renovation but it was exciting to rest in those rooms that bring back you to many years ago.We stayed there for 3 nights and it was enough to see whole Yazd city historical places. The breakfast had a little change every day that was good.We really enjoyed every nights walking through the garden or relaxing in balcony between our rooms and smelling fresh air and great scenery.

The hotel is not perfect, but it's good for business .In terms of the hotel's environment, I must say that it has a garden in the middle of the hotel, which is almost beautiful, the location of the hotel is far from the city center and a little far from the old structure of Yazd, the staff is very kind, but the equipment of the rooms is not professional. But I must admit that it has very delicious foodo

Everything in this hotel is complete and tidy. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with a professional and wonderful attitude. When you enter the room, you realize how excellent this hotel is, how well all the services are done. In this hotel, all you need to do is make a request and it will be provided to you in the shortest possible time. If you are someone who has been to many good hotels, this is definitely the best choice in Yazd.

I am very happy that I chose this hotel during my trip to Yazd, because from the moment I arrived, I witnessed the best service and the most sincere behavior. I can say that it was one of the few hotels that, in addition to clean and unique room service, had very delicious and varied food. You could eat the most delicious Iranian and foreign dishes and even traditional Yazdi dishes in the hotel itself without traveling far. The breakfast, which was included in the room service, was really varied and excellent.

The team are verrry slow. They work, serve like snail. The rooms are tiny .the garden view room has 2 small non openable windows actually the room view is the cupboard view. The bath and toilet service are wornout and old. Walls are dirtyTowels are not as new and bright as to be .The beds are narrow . They even gave us separate beds for the couple! The room is dark and not enough light. It is 2 or 3 star hotel. The garden is beautiful. With sound of water .The restuarant food was acceptable but very fatty

It was the best experience I had traveling to Yazd, the most exciting part was seeing such a lush garden in the middle of the desert. The rooms were very clean and the service was perfect, everything was thought out in advance and professional. The very friendly attitude of the staff complemented all of this and I will definitely travel to Yazd again and choose this hotel.

It was one of those trips that I enjoyed every second of, and it was really beautiful and heartwarming, just like there. They had 2 very beautiful parrots and a garden full of beautiful flowers and trees. They handed over the room to me very promptly and without delay, and they were very good-natured. The room was more beautiful than what I had seen in the photo, and everything was really clean and tidy, and its quality was higher than expected.
