As a biracial Iranian / American I don’t like to leave negative reviews about my own county . BUT …. The hotel is located in a nice area in the park .Once upon a time I have heard it was a very nice hotel . Considering its age , and NO renovations its kept itself well .Staff are nice but lack training .But the worst was the fact that children run through the hotel like a ZOO!!!I went one evening to dinner at the rooftop restaurant , kids running around as if it’s a playhouse .At breakfast in the main hall with a buffet , hotel staff allowed children to bring in SCOOTERSAs I am walking with a hot cup of tea in my hand I have to worry about kids wizzing around me . Even though I complained the staff did nothing and told me that the parents don’t listen .Well if the parents make the rules than I can assure you this in no way can be called a FIVE star hotel .No Standards

Hotel is located at the heart of a nice famous park but stupidly they blocked pedestrian direct way to the park and there is no pedestrian way to go to the park from hotel.Room temperature was good.Shower was very old and out of date.Avoid Fast food (coffee shop) downstairs. Foods are very low quality and staff are rude. Generally hotel is in need for renovation.Buffet breakfast was good.Reception staff friendly and provided us with a room with nice view of the park and the city.

Nice and spacious room. Beautiful carpet, good quality furniture and appliances. Not the most modern hotel in the world but it's a very good and well maintained hotel. I stay in a single room (with just one single bed) (1200000 rials) or can be paid by USD (100USD). Although the exchange rate is officially 12000 rials per 1 USD but you can get it exchanged at at least 23000 rials per 1 usd in town (not at any bank). That means the hotel rate is about 50-55 USD, with breakfast. I don't know if the hotel accept a credit card but if using a credit card means the 12000 exchange rate, it's better to use cash in Iranian money.Breakfast was not great but is good enough. It's a buffet breakfast with boiled eggs, fried eggs, omlette, some Iranian bread, muffins, honey, cheese, butter, grape, tomato, cucumber, cereal, orange juice, milk, tea and coffee. It also has fresh and delicious dates. The hotel if far from the city, about 5 km from the university of Tabriz and 9-10 km from the Blue Mosque or the Bazaar. Taxi ride to the university of tabriz is about 40000-50000 and to the city is no more than 100000. Taxi drivers are honest and never charge me extra for being a foreigner. It is better to have the place name of your destination written in Persian and you can show this to the driver as most (or all) of them cannot communicate in English. For the fare, I showed the money to them as a method of asking for the fare. For example, from the university of Tabriz to the hotel, I showed a 50000 note to them and they understood that. Some taxi don't look like taxi but rather private cars but they do take passengers. They are equally honest. There are some buses nearby, which I didn't use. Bus numbers are written in Persian numbers, not Arabic number. The hotel has a health club, which has a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, which are free. The fitness can be used for a fee of around 50000. The health club has men and women time. Men time is 3pm-10pm Sat-Thu and 8am-7pm on Friday. Women time is 7am-2pm on Sat, Sun, Tue, Thu and 9.30am-2pm on Mon and Wed. Most men wore shorts instead of a swimming suit. The is a jacuzzi pool but it was crowded with groups of Iranian who sepnt a long time there singing and chatting. The minibar in the room is not expensive. A 1.59 Oz of Loacker wafer is 15000 or less than a dollar if you exchange your money properly. Coke can is 7420, no alcoholic beer 13700, orange juice (200ml) 10000, canshew nuts (about 3-4 times the size you normally get on a flight) 39000.One bad thing about this hotel is some staffs are not helpful and cannot speak English much. For example, when I asked them "If anyone calls me or comes to see me, please tell them that I have left to the university of Tabriz", they looked at me strangely and didn't understood anything. A lady gave me a map instead.I stayed at this hotel because there's no currency exchange at the airport and this hotel has a small counter there. The lady at the counter didn't speak English much but she's quite helpful. The transportation from the airport was provided free of charge. The hotel doesn't require any advance payment and so you can have enough time to get your money exhcanged and pay them when you check out. I exchanged money at Havin Exchange on Imam avenue. There can be a place that you'll get an even better rate

One of the best hotels in the area. It has a topnotch architecture and located in a beautiful area next to one of the outstanding parks. It has a very large and an equipped pool. There is also a big revolving roof restaurant on the top of the hotel with delicious foods they also serve international meals. The lobby has many shops representing Tabriz's handcraft and carpets. I totally recommend it.
