This historic hotel which has been renovated, offers a super clean and confortable stay in Tabriz. It is very well located near attractions (Azerbaijan Museum, Blue Mosque and Tabriz Old Bazaar). The hotel staff are very professional and the food is excellent! Don't miss the buffet breakfast in the garden as well as traditional foods such as "Dolma" and "Kufta"!

At first we wanted to stay at this hotel for one night then head to Tehran, but we really enjoyed the vibe around this hotel specially because of it's unique architecture so we decided to explore more of it and we extended our stay. This hotel has its own pros and cons but one of the best features is the polite and professional staff. Breakfast was more than enough and i enjoyed the special cheese called "leeqvan". And also there was a chef stand so you could order omelet with your own preferred ingredients. Rooms were tidy and mini bar was full of snacks so i never felt hungry waking up in the middle of night. I will definitely come back to this hotel and i won't forget the beautiful backyard garden it has to offer.

Perfect stay at shahryar. The staff were quiet kind and helpful throughout my stay.The hotel has 2 swimming pools hence we were able to use at the same time.There are also few good shops at the lobby you may want to pay a visit.I thank the hotel team for making our stay memorable

it is a clean and suitable hotel in the center of the city with friendly staff, the view of the yard is amazing, and the breakfast is good. recommend enjoying it. the building is old but renovated and rooms have new furnisher.

Old, normal hotel in a historical location. Double room 20 sqm with a good bathroom. My windows looked out onto a noisy street. Good quality/price combination, $30-35.Breakfast with a wide choice and variety, mainly Azerbaijani cuisine.

The elevator system of rhis hotel is hilarious.beleive me it is funny once u get into the elevator u dont know whether it goes to your direction or reverse.The number of personnel is not enough.The breakfast table does not get recharged frequently.i am not going to stay there one more time and dont recommend it to anyone either.

First of all I was impressed by the excellence service at the front desk and in the restaurants: The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food quality is excellent. Location is perfect: close to the center and the rooms to the pool area are very quite. Rooms and hotel interior looks nice, it s visible that a lot of efforts have been spent to modernize the hotel.

After your plane lands in Tabriz International Airport you have to take a taxi to your hotel. Taxi prices are very cheap compared to western world and don't look for metro or public buses in Iran. We payed 3 USD to taxi to our hotel for half an hour voyage for four passengers. If you are going to Iran from the West even from Turkey you have a suspicion about life in Iran. We spent 2 days in October. There is no security problem in Tabriz. The two restrictions are If you are a female you have to obey to use trousers, scarf and a long jacket in your thighs and no alcohol for everybody. The streets are crowded by families and women alone and men as everywhere up to 23:00. The shops are usually open until this hour.The hotel is in the city center and below average in contradiction to 4 stars at the entrance. Blue Mosque, bazaar, constitution museum and elgoli parks are in the near vicinity of hotel. It is clean but must be renovated. The guys in front office are polite and very helpful. The breakfast is poor according to the 4 star hotels in west. You have to pay everything in cash, credit cards DON'T WORK. You have to visit cave houses in Kandovan village (cappadocia of Iran), a mountainous area at 50 kms south of Tabriz and on the slopes of Sahand Mountains with the beautiful panoramic view surrounded with wall-nut trees. Our guide Mr Emr Gaffari (mobile 0914 4102416) took us to this untouched area with his nice car and stayed there 2 hrs with us and took us back to Tabriz. This trip costed us only $25.

My co-worker and me stayed at this hotel 2 night. All things were good. Cleaning was good. Responsibility was good. Bereakfast was good and sutable for variety people. But wifi internet was very bad. Taxi service was so good.

This hotel is for sure the best hotel in tabriz. Personel is friendly, professional and welcoming. The rooms are spaciouse, very clean and well equipted. The most fasinatining thing about this hotel is the breakfast which also includes the local cusine provided with the best quality possible. Although The hotel was built more than 40 years ago it has been renovated perfectly, luxuriously and beautifully. The big yard with the green area has a large pool with fountains by wich you can enjoy your meals peacefuly. Parkings are provided by the yard in a way you feel at home. The location of the hotel is aslo great because it is located just by the metro station and you have easy access to city centre.

I had a 4 night visit from tabriz for attending the exhibition. I was very much pleased for having chosen shahryar hotel. The location of the hotel is very accessible and guest rooms have been rexently refurbished. The staff member are very professional and helpful. I would indeed go back to shahryar in my future stays and recommend others.

Great hotel with a very kind and helpful staff. unlike other hotels in iran the staff were well trained and knew how to satisfy guests. brrakfast was complementary and at a very high quality. guest rooms had been rexently renovated and our room had a very nice view of tge city. i take this opportunity to thank the hotel managment for making our stay memorable.

I have been staying in this hotel a couple of times over the past 20 years, Solo, Business, with family or friends. Each time I have been positively surprised by litte but meaningful improvements such a ls renovation of hotel facilities, training and engagement of younger personnel, addition of traditional dishes to the menu,... which all means that this historic hotel has kept a high standard in hospitality. I really prefer to stay in this hotel instead of other hotels because of it location (walking distance to major attractions), quiet rooms especially on the garden side, very clean facilities, welcoming and well-trained staff, and very good food.

The room was really comfortable,bathroom,bed sheets,tiwels and everything was pretty clean. The personnel are really polite, good in English. The breakfast which was included on toom was amazing, many options with high quality.I will definitely go here in my next trip.the price also is reasonable. We book it through Hamyarhotel.

Shahryar hotel has a very accessible location with 2 wellness centers which is a big advantage for couples as they can use at the same time.The guest rooms are recently refurbished and I would recommend to get a room at upper floors due to the panoramic view they get.I had a chance to dine at their Rose restaurant which was quiet good both service and food quality.overall I would recommend the hotel and would choose to stay with Shahryar during my next visits from Tabriz

Great experience in Tabriz.🥰First of all the behave of receptionwas fantastic. They explain the rooms very well.Bellboy also picked up all of our baggage.The meals were really delicious and we tastes the most famous iranian meals.🤤Hotel is near the Tabriz tourist attractions and we have reach good places easily.🌹

one of the best hotel experiences I had in Iran.The guest rooms are brand new and very big.Breakfast buffet was very well organized and had delights for various desires.one the advantages of this hotel was the 2 wellness centers that male and female could use at the same time.I will definitely go back to this hotel if I visit Tabriz

This is a pretty swanky looking hotel.I booked the Diplomatic Suite and it was HUGE. The room was so big that it felt a bit empty. The room had really nice looking furniture but it all kind of drowned in the size of the room. But that's no deal breaker.The main problem with this hotel is that it does not have a welcoming feeling to it. I felt this from the moment I checked in when the check in person talked directly to my guide. I am not saying the check in person was a bad person. We did exchange smiles and a brief chat later but just that initial contact and not being acknowledged made me feel unwelcomed.Also to add, the lobby and restaurant lack ambience. It just felt empty and quiet. I stayed for three nights and I dined alone or with one or two other tables.Breakfast was pretty basic, and restaurant staff were nice enough but quite distant.When you add all of this up - it felt like this place was to be "looked at" rather than "experienced".It doesn't mean that it's offensive or that anyone is bad. It's just kind of meh when it comes to a feel.In other words, in my opinion, you won't have a bad stay but you won't have a stay that enhances your overall experience of the city or your stay in Iran.
