In my opinion, it is weaker than 4-star hotels in Tehran, Mashhad, or Shiraz. During our stay, there was a seminar, so the restaurant changed the service time. And because we were hungry, we used the street food in the vicinity. There is also an amusement park near the hotel where screams and shouts could be heard in our room.

The best selection in Hamedan.Hamedan Parsian Hotel is located on Eram Boulevard and near the pleasant climate area of Abbas Abad, the slopes of Mount Alvand in the west of Iran. This 4-star hotel has about 45 rooms, some of which overlook the tall trees of Alvand mountain, and some overlook the boulevard. The hotel has facilities and services such as restaurant with Iranian and foreign menu, coffee shop, conference hall, room service, and conference hall. Also, you can book 1 and 2-bed rooms and spacious, clean, and bright 3-person suites at Parsian Hotel in Hamedan and have a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel is such that you have easy access to the center of the city as well as entertainment and sightseeing places outside Hamedan city. It takes 10 to 20 minutes to drive from Hamedan Parsian Hotel to Ranginkaman entertainment complex, Abbas Abad amusement park, Hegmatane Hill, and Ganjnameh, and it takes 15 minutes to the city

Hamadan hotelIt is a business hotel with rooms which are variable. The ones facing the city seems larger and in better shape but more noisy because facing the entrance of the hotel as well as a busy boulevard. The ones facing the hills are quiet with a nice view and a nice breeze if the a/c is not on. The carpet is a bit ratty. The bathroom works ok but the floor can get pretty wet when you take a shower. The décor is so so but still it is ok. An important plus, the wifi works very well. Breakfast is a well appointed buffet. There is a park across the street for the ones who like to stretch their legs in the morning (it is to the left of the theme park)

I went to Azadi Hotel (also known as Eram Hotel) in Hamadan with my sister at the end of summer. I chose this hotel because I was told by a Hamadani that it was new and the best one in town. It's a four-star hotel (they didn't have any five-star hotels in Hamadan) and it cost us 100,000 tomans (almost $100) per night for a standard room for two adults. We reached there early in the morning after a long bus trip and when we got to the hotel, no one was there to help us with our suitcases. The receptionist told us where our room was and we were sent up on our own to find our room. The bathroom seemed all right and clean, the room itself, too, but we found some yellow stains on our bedlinen. Fortunately we had our own bedlinen and pillowcase with us, which is a MUST if you're traveling in Iran. Our room was small. It had a bathroom, a TV with some Farsi, English and Arabic channels on it. There was a small fridge, and a table with two armchairs. The beds weren't very comfortable but they were OK. The closet had only 3 hangers in it. The shower worked fine. Water-drainage had some problems though.Breakfast was OK. Nothing fancy. The only problem was that although breakfast was supposed to be served from 7 to 10 it was more like from 8 to 10. You could find cheese, butter, jam, bread, tomatoes and cucumbers from 7, but the scrambled and boiled eggs plus a couple of more things that needed to be prepared were usually ready at around 8. We also had lunch and dinner at the hotel itself . The food was good and we did try a variety of dishes. The location was good. Although it was near the edge of the town, it would only take us 10 to 15 minutes to get to tourist attractions by cab. It would take about an hour to get to Ali-Sadr Cave, so we left the hotel at 8 to avoid the traffic and queue at the cave. The afternoon receptionist of the hotel was a very nice person and he gave us a free map of Hamadan and told us what places to visit. We were also lucky enough to have a nice taxi-driver with whom we arranged to go on tour of the city and the cave for the two days we were there. The hotel itself didn't have any taxis but the receptionist will get you one from nearby taxi companies.I've chosen 2 out of 5 for sleep quality simply because the noises from the corridor or other rooms wouldn't let me sleep! When leaving the hotel, although the doorman was there, he didn't come to help us with our luggage. I also have to say that most of the staff were friendly, but some didn't seem to be very well trained.Altogether, especially compared to the so called four-star or five-star hotels in Iran, it was a pretty good hotel and I would recommend it to a friend.
