📍 Shooshtar | ⭐ 3 Stars
The historical house of Tabib Shushtari is a nationally registered historical monument and one of the most beautiful and unique houses in the old fabric of Shushter. One of the special features that distinguishes it from other examples is its various and numerous decorations such as stone carving, plasterwork, and brickwork. In addition to the beautiful brick decorations that are visible in various parts, the brick lattice walls and windows, known as "Fakhr and Madin", are noteworthy. The beautiful wooden doors with intricate designs, each different from the other, add to its charm. The use of various types of arches and domes in this building, a very large northern iwan, a large basement, and a unique feature of a large chamber are among its excellent features. Its Shabestan and Shavadan are very spacious rooms with decorations that in the past served as the trading house of the Afsar family. This building was used both as the trading house of the Afsar family and as their residential home.
