The four-star Moshir al-Mamalek Hotel is the first Iranian garden hotel with traditional architecture dating back to the Qajar period, located on the outskirts of the old fabric in the northwest of the historic city of Yazd. This garden was built in the late Qajar period during the reign of Mozaffar al-Din Shah by Mirza Fathollah Moshir al-Mamalek, who was in charge of the assets at the time. In the late 1379, it was purchased by a private company and with the help of the Cultural Heritage Organization of Yazd, it was transformed into a hotel. In 1382, it was put into operation as the first Iranian garden hotel with traditional equipment. The Moshir al-Mamalek Garden Hotel is also registered on the list of national monuments in Iran. While having a traditional structure, this hotel is equipped with all modern amenities and world-class facilities. Tourist attractions of this hotel include the beautiful garden area, lovely fountains, ancient trees, ponds, flowing water channels, two African red and blue parrots, and authentic Iranian architecture.
