Really not a five star hotel

I stayed here with my family for four nights. The staff were really nice and friendly. But the hotel accommodation and elevators are really old. the hotel located adjacent of a university and it is really noisy. Every things were average rated. No appropriate choice if you want a real 5 star hotel in Mashad.

Average hotel but soooo much better than other 5 star

Pardisan hotel is normal average 5 star hotel in Mashhad but it is sooooooooo much better than Homa hotel which is also 5 star but around 2.5 more expensive.Pardisan hotel staffs are very friendly and also resturant is not bad.in mashhad there are better 5 star hotel but in very very crowded area( near the holy shrine) which trafic will kill you even in 00.00 am.so if i go to mashhad again i will go to Pardisan hotel.

Not sure whether I will stay again

My wife and I were traveling to Afghan via Mashad an were looking to stay in a place there for one night.. To begin with, pls do not use their website to make your booking.. They will not respond.. Finally we have to make the booking through one of our friends in Iran..The hotel looks impressive from outside, but don’t get fooled by that.. The rooms and bathroom despite having all the toiletries and amenities look a bit rundown and urgently need a facelift.. One positive thing was that throughout the hotel there is free wireless connection which was really great.. But for us the biggest problem was the reception staff.. The hotel advertises itself as a 5 star hotel, but none of the reception staff (except for one guy) speak fluent English.. You don’t expect that in a 5 star hotel.. The food was also not that great at this place..If you are staying for one night this hotel is ok, but I am not sure if we go to Mashad again whether we will consider staying in this place..

5 star ? more like a 1 star, this hotel is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in.its looks like a mental institute that has been refurbished as a hotel, its clearly evident that they have bough used equipment in all their rooms. Also stay AWAY from their food, their MEATS are rotten , i got severe diahorea from their kababs and salamis. Their beds are hard like stone. Their AC systems dont work well , i find myself sweating at nights like a pig. they also try to rip off people if you buy your reservation online. they make you believe they are 5 star and make thier rates like international 5 star rates.thier elevators dont have sensors so they will bang you pretty well if you arent quick, this is casue they are 50 years old. Internet speed is similar to dial up connection. coming from a place were i use a T1 line , i nealy snapped my tablet cause of the frustration of downloading at 1kbs.its a pityful hotel , they are cheaters by charging people high rates and getting them sick , i hope people would see this review and avoid coming to this hell hole.

not a great hotel..

we stayed in this hotel for one night. it was a nightmare to make a booking. I had to get people who spoke Farsi to make the booking. None of the staff spoke English and the website and telehone numbers given does not really work! the hotel looks quite nice from outside.. but the rooms are old and faded and needs an uplift! we had a nightmare trying to communicate with the staff. the restaurant food was not that great and of course being a vegetarian I did not have any choice at all! I do not think I will stay in this hotel again. I was told that there are some nicer hotels in Mashad.

Basic, clean, comfortable & quiet - maybe a little too quiet.

Our first night in Iran was spent at the Pardisan. Our guide and driver took us there - the hotel had been booked for us by our tour organisers so there wasn't any choice involved (and the cost was included in our overall tour price, so I don't know what we paid for the night and how that compares to other hotels in Mashhad). We probably would have been happier with a hotel in the thick of things in central Mashhad, as we were pretty excited to have finally arrived in Iran and were keen to check out life as it's lived in this city. However our young guide, a delightful local woman, mentioned several times that from her perspective it was best to be in a quiet hotel, away from the busy noisy streets around the Haram. At the airport leaving Mashhad we bumped into a fellow Australian woman who was travelling solo, but like us meeting up with local guides along the way, and she'd stayed in the bustling central part of the city, had walked everywhere day and night, and loved it (this made us feel a little jealous!)The Pardisan otherwise (apart from its out of the way position) was fine. A bit bland but inoffensive. From memory, our double room was actually what we'd call a twin - turned out to be typical for Iran. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant as it ended up being easier than trying to figure out what would be in the vicinity - the food and 0% alcohol beer were fine. Breakfast was good (I can't remember what we had, but we didn't have a bad hotel breakfast in Iran, and they were all fairly similar in style - boiled eggs, tomato, cucumber, feta and bread etc). The hotel has a cafe with an espresso machine, but we didn't get around to trying the coffee there. Staff friendly enough - we had to negotiate paying for our restaurant bill at check out in the morning with US $ as we hadn't had the opportunity to change money yet, and the Manager and reception staff had enough English language skills to understand us and be helpful. There are a few little specialty shops in the lobby area (including a saffron shop) which could be useful if you didn't have the opportunity to trawl through the bazaar (I don't know the name of the bazaar that our guide took us to, however it was fabulous for sweets, nuts, saffron and turquoise).

Always good

Arrogant staff

Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the hotel's elegance. The spacious and spotless room, along with delightful dining experiences featuring fresh Persian cuisine, catered to diverse tastes. Its central location facilitated effortless exploration of the city's attractions, offering a tranquil ambiance. However, the Wi-Fi service, while functional, bordered on poor. Unfortunately, the reception staff's demeanor was less than pleasant, but fortunately, the hotel manager stepped in to rectify a situation where the receptionist initially refused my room reservation due to a misunderstanding about dates. The manager's intervention resolved the issue, showcasing the hotel's commitment to service. Despite these hiccups, the hotel offered additional amenities like flight and train booking kiosks, making it a generally good choice overall.

not a 5 star hotel indeed

I stayed here last year for 2 nights, I should say that staff are not that friendly, service is slow, equipments like lifts are old and sometimes out of service, bathroom is old, room rate is reasonable for the quality, the breakfast is complete and various, pool water quality is not acceptable, tennis court was good, it is a quite place but far from downtown
