📍 Isfahan | ⭐ 5 Stars
The magnificent and historic five-star Abbasi Hotel in Isfahan is one of the oldest hotels in the world and also one of the largest hotels in Iran with unique Isfahan school architecture. This hotel is considered a tourist attraction in Iran. The Shah Abbas Caravanserai was built during the Safavid era in 1128 by order of Shah Sultan Hussein Safavid. He gifted this caravanserai to his mother, hence the Abbasi Hotel was known as the Shahs Mother Caravanserai in ancient times. In 1336, the Abbasi Caravanserai was renovated and transformed into a guesthouse and renamed Shah Abbasi Guesthouse. During the construction of this guesthouse, efforts were made to conserve the remaining parts of the caravanserai and the buildings design was in harmony with the Abbasid era architecture. In 1345, this guesthouse was converted into the current hotel. Even in the current hotel, efforts were made to preserve the caravanserai-like characteristics of the building. Each room in this hotel has its own unique architecture and features. The hotel, with its 14 reception halls, restaurant, traditional dining room, traditional tea house, and Triya Café, is always ready to accommodate up to 1500 guests. The advantages of this hotel include its central location in the heart of Isfahan, proximity to most historical attractions of the city, being equipped with the best services and amenities, and providing a historical stay experience in a tourist attraction. The Abbasi Guesthouse has 225 rooms, suites, and apartments including single and double standard rooms, with courtyard and garden views, regular suites, Qajar, Safavid, sabz suites, as well as two and three-bedroom apartments located around the hotel courtyard and turquoise pool, facing the hotel courtyard, terrace, and windows. All rooms are equipped with safety systems and comply with world standards. The exceptional view of the beautiful garden and turquoise dome of the Chaharbagh School provides a unique landscape for rooms overlooking the garden. The Qajar and Safavid architectural styles in some suites are among the interior design elements rarely found in any other hotel in the world.
